George works closely with AMACO – HERCULES project team, mainly focuses on engineering, feed design, facility installation, design, selection and management. He is Director and General Manager of Tritec Marine Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of Northern Marine Group, which is part of Stena AB of Sweden. He targets on engineering, projects and consultancy services and supports clients with portfolios in excess of USD 1.0 billion in asset value
George’s experience in maritime and oil & gas industries spans more than 25 years and covers all aspects of the lifecycle of ships and offshore platforms. His professional mission is to ensure safety, operability and sustainability of all marine assets within his remit
George combines extensive engineering and project management experience across all phases of a project, from initial concept configuration to feasibility studies, pre-FEED and FEED scopes, shipyard selection and site supervision. He leads a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and is routinely engaged in diverse scopes related to design, upgrade, retrofit and repairs of ships and offshore structures
George is a member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects and a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council UK. He holds a BSc in Naval Architecture, an MEng in Advanced Marine Design and PhD in Risk-based Ship Design from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland
